My selfies show the two times I have experienced death. The right shows me looking out the window after just learning my grandfather passed away after being ill for months. On the left shows me in the bathroom, the exact place where I was when I learned my godfather passed away in an accident. I feel as if selfies are more to than just to show a pretty face, they can show emotions you intend to hide, but they betray you and come out in the picture. Sure you may look happy or fine in a picture but an image is worth a thousand words and you no longer can wear the facade, and you end up showing people how you really feel.
"What we see is not what we get. The buisness of mass media is to train audiences to read images and representation in predictable ways"
